Ruedefaux is an independent creator who specializes in character illustration and environmental illustration, often using surrealism, dream-like, and horror elements through exaggerated metaphorical imagery to express ideas that she is passionate about or finds interest in.Always looking to expand her visual library and skillset, Ruedefaux loves to experiment with different styles and techniques from time to time, as well as study new material to draw inspiration from.She finds lots of artistic comfort in retro horror videogames, the Rennaisance period, gothic architecture, alchemy, animals, and the cosmos.When Ruedefaux is not drawing, she sometimes experiments with making music of the hardcore genre, gabber. Otherwise, you can find her indulging in Soulsborne games.

Partial payment can be requested, though unless we have rapport, it is not guaranteed.❤︎ I update with each step (sketch, base colours, shading, etc).❤︎ I want the commission process to be enjoyable for both of us, so please make sure you have a clear idea of what you're looking for before we begin. The sketch stage is the best time for feedback and bigger changes, while the linework stage is reserved for smaller tweaks. Once coloring has started, the artwork is considered final and I won't be able to make further revisions. If it seems like we're having trouble settling on a direction, we can always discuss the best way forward, whether that's ending the commission with a refund or moving ahead with the current version.❤︎ For reference material, I only accept visual aids (written descriptions helpful next to the visual aids). Any reference material you provide me to work with for your commission are your responsibility. I will not hold any responsibility for the source material you provide for me to work with if it so happens to resemble something already existing.❤︎ Raw PSD files are not provided by default. To obtain raw PSD file, you must pay a fee equal to what you paid for the illustration. (ie. $300 illustration + 300$ for PSD)❤︎ I have the right to decline a commission if I do not wish to work with the subject matter. No questions asked. I also have the right to not post a commission up if I wish not to, no questions asked.♡ WILL DO ♡I am open to MOST subject matter.
